First Time Visiting Our Pantry?

Welcome to St. Anthony’s Food Pantry! If you’re visiting us for the first time, you might have some questions about how things work. Don’t worry – you’re in the right place! 
Below are several of our frequently asked questions. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our friendly staff or volunteers. We’re here to assist you every step of the way.

Where is the panty located? 

The food pantry is located in the basement of St. Anthony’s Church on 3140 S Meramec St, St. Louis, MO 63118. You can enter through the parking lot on the east side of the building, through the back entrance.

What days do you give out food?

We are open weekly on Mondays & Thursdays 10am-12pm, and Wednesdays 4pm-6pm. If you need emergency food, text us at (314) 352-1460 to arrange pickup.

How often can I come to the pantry? 

Patrons can come one time per month to the St. Anthony’s Food Pantry. If you are in crisis and need food in between that time, we can help out. Please call the main line at 314-352-1460.

Who can come to the food pantry? 

We serve anyone from the St. Louis Metro region who needs food. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, gender, race, or zip code.

I’m from the Metro East, can I come to the pantry? 

Yes! You can come to the pantry. We serve anyone from the entire St. Louis Metro region.

Do I have to bring my Photo ID? 

No, you do not need to bring an ID. You do need to provide some basic information when you arrive, including your name, address, household size, and zip code.

Do you take donations? 

Yes! We accept donations of unopened, non-perishable food, gently used clothing, household items, furniture, and toys. Please check out our guide to donating and call us at (314) 352-1460 before you drop off.

Do you have anything besides food? 

We have personal care items, clothing, shoes, diapers, feminine hygiene, and a resource table to help you find what you need. We also have utility assistance on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday.

Do you offer utility assistance? 

Yes! On the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month from 4-6pm, St. Vincent Du Paul provides utility assistance at St. Anthony’s Food Pantry.
